Draper Days

It's all about the traditions! Every year the kids and I 'stake' our claim along Fort Street (a week prior to the parade), for premier seating to view the Draper Parade. We pick the same spot every time. We know where the shade will be, so we can just relax and enjoy all the commotion. We love to gather with all of our friends. We love being part of the Draper community. It feels like going to a family reunion. The kids see their friends from school, neighborhood, church, etc. WE LOVE IT!

Cowabunga Bay

We had the opportunity to experience Cowabunga Bay. We picked a hot summer day, we went with cousin Chris and Danielle. The kids had a good time, but if they had to pick a water park, they would choose Seven Peaks instead. I would agree! The water was cold, it was crowded, and relatively small once you are inside. (a little pricey as well)

Science Camp

Doing what my boys love best! Zach and Seth had the oppportunity to attend a science camp at Salt Lake Community College. They built robots, rockets, solar cars and other various projects. On the final day, cousin Chris and I went to admire their work. These handsome boys are truly in their element when they are building and creating.

Real Soccer

Jeremy is a soccer nut! He prefers this sport above all others (who would have guessed). We attended a game with our friends, the Sandbergs. The Rio Tinto stadium is great. There isn't a bad seat in the house, we should know since we sat on the top row. It was a lot of fun.

Growing Up!

Zach and Seth attended their first overnight scout camp. They have great scout leaders. They love to camp and hang out with their friends. They are growing up to fast!

Lake Powell 2009

Lake Powell was a grand adventure. We purchased a timeshare in an older houseboat. We have never run a houseboat on our own before. We spent the first day getting oriented and trained by other owners and staff at the marina. We slept in the dock our first night.
The Gledhills and the Francoms joined us on our maiden voyage. The weather was perfect! The kids had a fabulous time playing on the sea kayak, launching water balloons off of the top deck, watching movies at the end of the day, hiking, building fires, and just goofing off. We took a sight-seeing cruise up Navajo canyon, it was beautiful!

Lake Powell is such a beautiful place. We love visiting each year. It is a lot of work, but well worth it!

5th Grade Program

We made it! The kids all participated in the year end program, celebrating our American History.
